Marina graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design. Upon completion of her diploma, she took off to find her way in the world of fashion. After a few years of working all across Europe (Switzerland, Italy, France, and Germany), she settled in Canada and made it her home in 1994.

The European-born designer also attended a two year intensive Fashion Design program in Montreal, to upgrade her knowledge to North American standards.

Marina enjoyed seeing tears of joy on a bride's face when she would show the bride her completed wedding dress for the first time. That is why Marina chose to make custom made wedding dresses her specialty. After working for a few established bridal shops she decided to open her own bridal shop, Marina Lemoyne Couture. She now continues creating collections of "Ready-to-wear" bridesmaids and "Custom Couture wedding dresses" sold at the Marina Lemoyne Couture showroom boutique .
